The is active representation (non transmitting) model of the popular Kannad 406AS emergency location transmitter accurately reproduces the functional operation of the original equipment that is carried onboard many commercial aircraft in service today.
The training model is designed to be used in the training hall to familiarise air crew with the correct operation of the portable ELT and this training version gives an accurate representation of its operation in both ARMED and ON mode (using the operation toggle switch) with LED feedback and audio beeping. It also uses a non-lithium rechargeable battery (supplied), which means it can ship worldwide as regular freight.
A 2 pin (European format) charger is included with the training ELT however alternative plug formats are available for North American and United Kingdom customers.
