Retractable cabin oxygen training system offers aircraft realism with minimised costs
Increase your mock up training realism with this stand alone or modular cabin training system
The next generation of cabin oxygen deployment and recall systems has this week passed its initial factory trials. While not a new product the cabin oxygen training system, which deploys cabin oxygen masks and then retracts and stows them ready for the next crew training session has undergone some key modifications to make it easier to run and maintain without comprising reliability.
The initial factory tests have proven very successful and the first cabin oxygen deployment system should see its first cabin test in an active trainer mock up early this winter. As well as offering a realistic and convenient addition to cabin training the system has been designed to work stand alone, as an upgrade to an existing system or as part of an integrated cabin training system. It is also capable of being deployed across any aircraft platform including the usual Airbus and Boeing aircraft.
Reduced manufacturing costs, out of the box plug and play functionality and high reliability all make this cabin oxygen deployment system a viable option for cabin training schools looking to upgrade their current training offer or those who had until now has not considered training cabin oxygen deployment as an option.
