ELT Rescu 406 Training Model

This is a non functioning generic model of the he Honeywell RESCU 406 portable Emergency Location Transmitter or ELT. The original flight operations device comes in various models and this training representation can be manufactured by modifying any one of the original models (a list of typical donor models is given below). As a training model this device has had it's salt water operated battery (part number 1095599-1) removed.

Please note that it is not possible to supply the exact manufacturers part that you have on your aircraft as that is a specific part number that indicates the transmitted emergency data from an operational unit when activated; the aircraft type, MSN, manufacturer, operator, region of operation etc. This is not relevant in providing this non-operating training model, which gives a representative mechanical model in training and is why yhe part supplied will not match the part number onboard your aircraft.
